Learn More

The gut-brain axis is a complex, bidirectional, neural-hormonal communications network involving the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis as well as the central, autonomic, and enteric nervous systems. Research continues to shed light on the interdependent functionality of these systems including the relationship between gut health and stress.

The gut microbiome is often referred to as the “second brain.” Imbalances in the gut microbiome can result in damage to the gut barrier (intestinal hyperpermeability) exaggerated inflammatory response, and decreased neurotransmitter production.  Omni-Biotic Stress Release acts as a natural supplement for stress and mood, by replenishing the gut flora and strengthening the gut-brain axis.
